Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Calypso Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, customizing, and integrating Calypso-based solutions for the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Calypso back-office modules, Calypso V16 or later, and a strong Java/Oracle/Unix technical background. The role involves close collaboration with functional analysts and remote teams, focusing on delivering scalable, high-performance trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions within the Calypso platform tailored to client requirements
• Customize workflows, messaging frameworks, and report generation within Calypso
• Integrate Calypso with internal and external systems and services
• Conduct performance testing, analyze results, and resolve system bottlenecks
• Participate in DevOps and CI/CD activities to ensure continuous improvement
• Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Coach junior developers and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience with Calypso, preferably versions 16 and up
• Strong understanding of Calypso back-office modules including messaging, transfer generation, and customization
• Hands-on experience with Java, Oracle, and Unix
• Familiarity with CATT tools is an advantage
• Experience managing or working with distributed remote teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
