Job Description:

Your everyday responsibilities include...

  • Engineering development of shipbuilding components (rudders, steering gears, nozzles, etc.) in accordance with classification construction rules and customized shipbuilding structures.
  • Generating 3D and 2D CAD models, workshop drawings, structural calculations, FE analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Technical project management and coordination with internal and external project teams, international manufacturing and supply partners, classification societies, and clients worldwide, including occasional international travel.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and German (B2 level).
  • Degree in mechanical or maritime engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./Dipl.-Ing.).
  • Professional experience in a similar maritime role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD (preferably SolidWorks and AutoCAD) and experience with PDM systems.
  • Strong technical understanding and experience with technical documentation.
