CCTV – Security in Sight, Technology in Hand


Our CCTV team within the Product Management department consists of seven dedicated colleagues who combine technical expertise, market insight, and an innovative mindset to develop cutting-edge video surveillance systems for the rail industry.

We rely on state-of-the-art technologies and continuously push the boundaries of CCTV – from high-resolution camera technology and intelligent analytics to seamless cloud integration.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As part of an agile product team, you will develop state-of-the-art video surveillance solutions for the rail industry.

  • You’ll program software for onboard devices as well as cloud-based applications.

  • You will seamlessly integrate modern low-latency streaming technologies into our software.

  • You write clean code and ensure quality through automated testing.

  • From the very first line of code to the final release, you and your team will take full responsibility for the software development process.


YOUR SKILLS

  • A degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification

  • Extensive experience with C++ (14/17/...) and Qt/QML

  • Strong knowledge of Python, RESTful APIs, and optionally databases

  • Proven skills in designing scalable and high-performance software architectures

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD)

  • Confident working with Linux, Bash, and container technologies like Docker

  • Hands-on experience with build tools, version control (Git), and continuous integration (Jenkins)

  • Familiarity with video standards such as RTSP/RTP, HLS, WebRTC, H.264, and ONVIF

  • Fluent German and solid English skills

  • Enjoy working in an international team

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with C#/.NET or web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular

  • Understanding of cloud computing (AWS) and experience in the development, deployment, and management of cloud applications

  • Strong knowledge of IP networks

  • Experience working in agile teams
