Job Responsibilities

1. Development and optimisation of filter and simplification processes for Building Information Modelling (BIM) data
2. Analysing and building a structural and content-related understanding of the existing C++ code base with a focus on providing stable processes for the OCC kernel
3. Development and implementation of quality controls for incoming BIM model data to minimise errors and optimise data quality
4. Implementation of conversion processes between different geometric representations

Minimum Requirements

1. Completed studies in the field of computer science, information technology, civil engineering or a comparable field of study or training
2. Several years of experience with the C++ programming language and initial project experience with openCASCADE
3. Experience with code quality metrics and test coverage is desirable
4. In-depth understanding of complex issues in combination with the ability to present them in a simplified manner
5. Very good written and spoken English, German language skills are an advantage
6. Analytical skills, the ability to work in a team and an innovative way of working round off your profile
