An established industry player is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to service and maintain C-12 King Air and UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft. This role requires extensive FAA A&P experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work under federal aviation regulations. The C-12 King Air OR UC-35 Citation Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P)
Services, repairs, and overhauls assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Uses technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and repairs or replaces faulty components.
The A&P Mechanic must have recent and relevant C-12 King Air and/or UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft mechanic experience.
A valid FAA A&P certificate is required.
US Citizenship with a Valid US Passport is required to obtain the US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
Performs quality maintenance on aircraft per federal aviation regulations, OEM, or military technical orders.
Repairs and replaces aircraft structures, components, and systems using appropriate tools and manuals.
Reads and interprets maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and specifications.
Inspects engines for leaks and malfunctions, tests engine operation, and replaces or repairs components accordingly.
Disassembles, inspects, repairs, and reassembles engine parts and installs engines in aircraft.
Performs miscellaneous aircraft servicing duties and may service engines and airframe components at line stations.
May specialize in structural, spare parts, or assembly work.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Seven or more years of FAA A&P experience on C-12/King Air or UC-35 Cessna Citation is required.
Completion of formal maintenance or military training on these aircraft is preferred.
Recent full-time experience within the past 12 months is preferred.
Six months of flight line and overhaul experience is preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance and facility credentials. US Citizenship is required.
Mechanics tools and toolbox are required; tools must be shadowed and etched with PID. Tools will be shipped overseas.
Valid US Passport is required for deployment to Germany.
Germany-specific deployment requirements: Must meet TESA/DOCPER requirements for SOFA status, US Citizenship, US Passport, and seven years of FAA A&P experience.
Physical requirements include: walking, climbing, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, operating machinery, and working in various environments.
Effective communication, reading, and writing skills are necessary.
