Job Overview
The C-12/King Air AND/OR UC-35/Citation Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Uses technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and repairs or replaces faulty components.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance in accordance with federal regulations, OEM, and military technical orders.
- Repair and replace aircraft structures and components, including engines, wings, fuselage, and functional parts.
- Read and interpret manuals, service bulletins, and specifications for repairs.
- Diagnose engine malfunctions, inspect turbine blades, and test engine operation.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine parts.
- Perform general aircraft servicing duties.
- Specialize in structural, precision, and functional parts repairs and modifications.
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA A&P certificate.
- Seven (7) years of experience as an FAA A&P mechanic, specifically on C-12 King Air and/or UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft.
- US citizenship and valid US passport.
- Ability to obtain US Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Recent full-time aviation maintenance experience on the specified aircraft within the last 12 months.
- Mechanic tools, with tools etched with employee PID.
- Physical ability to perform required duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environments.
- Eligibility for Germany-specific deployment requirements, including SOFA status.
Security & Physical Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
- Physical ability to walk, climb, crouch, lift, and operate equipment as necessary.
- Ability to respond to operational circumstances in diverse environments.
