Qualifikationen

  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Modeeinkauf, vorzugsweise im Kinderbereich.

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Buyer in our Kids Modern category, you’re part of a high performing team, creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion in our Offprice segment. You are responsible for branded buying, working together with your buying and planning teams.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • Drive your Kids Modern portfolio, reporting into the Senior Buyer Kids. Sourcing new brands, negotiating the best terms for Zalando, creative direction of your assortment, checking trends while managing existing brands.

  • Define brands strategy including budget and assortment planning in partnership with Category Controlling. Monitor KPIs and collaborate with the Category Controlling manager for OTB and performance review.

  • Manage stakeholders and maintain constant exchange with departments such as Logistics, Content, Marketing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends in the European fashion markets, especially for the Kids category.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of buying fashion experience in a similar role in a Head Office, preferably with a background in Kids.

  • You possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

  • You have strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and a passion for numbers combined with fashion and trends.

  • You have strong negotiation skills and are effective in communicating with suppliers and stakeholders.

  • You demonstrate a proactive attitude and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, while being a team player and also working independently.
