About the Role

At C&A, we are embarking on an exciting transformation project focused on modernizing our processes and technology to enable a truly European omni-channel experience. Our goal is to develop a more efficient, resilient, and data-driven omni-channel business that enhances product availability and offers great value to our customers.

This is a fixed-term 2-year contract. To support this initiative, we are seeking an experienced, data-driven, and customer-focused Markdown & Promotion Management Expert to join our Business Process Management team. This role will be pivotal to the success of C&A's most significant digital transformation to date.

Your Responsibilities

1. Lead the definition, alignment, and implementation of markdown and promotion processes within this major transformation.
2. Identify opportunities for operational excellence across key commercial functions, analyzing workloads and inefficiencies, and develop solutions.
3. Drive efficiency improvement initiatives in collaboration with the business.
4. Maximize the value of products in scope and simplify markdown management processes to gain a competitive advantage.
5. Translate business process proposals into solutions and validate the feasibility of end-to-end process and system integration.
6. Execute system testing, develop training documentation, and provide first-level support for related systems and processes.
7. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, project managers, and senior staff, to ensure timely and quality delivery of change processes or system implementations.

What You Bring

1. Deep knowledge of Markdown Management systems and processes, with experience in coordinating between business and IT.
2. Excellent communication and social skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
3. High engagement, flexibility, creativity, and reliability to drive process simplification and alignment.
4. Fluency in English; German skills are a plus.
5. University degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
6. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in business operations, product management, or consulting related to Markdown Management (including promotion management).
