We are seeking an experienced, data-driven, and highly customer-focused Forecasting Expert to join the Business Process Management team and support our Fit for Future (F4F) program. The mission of the F4F program is to modernize C&A’s processes and technology to enable truly European omni-channel ways of working. Our vision is that, upon completion, C&A will operate a more efficient, resilient, and data-driven omni-channel business, allowing us to scale and offer great product availability and value for money for our customers.

The Business Process Manager possesses extensive expertise in Demand Forecasting, which is applied across various areas such as planning, allocation, promotion management, and leftover management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern forecasting methodologies and their application within a retail context. Combining analytical expertise with strategic insight, the role will drive initiatives that improve product availability and customer satisfaction. As a functional lead for forecasting in the F4F program, this role is 100% dedicated to the program and works to ensure the integration of a new demand forecasting solution, ensuring the system(s) meet the needs of their respective business/functional teams. This position will be critical to the success of C&A’s most significant digital transformation to date.

Your responsibilities
  • Act as domain expert/Functional Lead for Forecasting. Ensure the program aligns with business needs. Consider end-to-end processes (across functions). Lead SMEs for the function/business area, manage projects, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Provide input for business requirements/to-be processes. Sign off on to-be processes for the function/business.
  • Contribute to and review key design decisions. Review and sign off on UAT scenarios for completeness. Coordinate UAT participants and ensure SMEs complete UAT. Conduct integration testing, enlisting help from SMEs if needed.
  • Champion and implement the change within their teams. Ensure training and communication for their teams takes place. Ensure the successful adoption of the product and processes in scope across their function. Ensure legacy solutions/processes are no longer used.
  • Promote industry best practices and strive for operational excellence. Take responsibility and drive the development of advanced processes and their supporting systems to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including end-users, project managers, and senior staff members to ensure the successful delivery of change processes or system implementation on time, within budget, and with high quality.
What you bring
  • Expertise in forecasting methods and demand planning processes. Knowledge of best practices for optimizing forecasts.
  • Advanced analytical skills and extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative way.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and products simultaneously. Willingness to roll up sleeves.
  • Excellent business judgment and good instincts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Demand Forecasting.
  • Experience in omnichannel fashion business.
