We, the Partner Platform Business Analytics Engineering team at Zalando, connect stakeholders to the data landscape from a partner program perspective. Collaborating with partner consultants, commercial and operational teams, analysts, and external data teams, your mission is to create data and reporting products that enable stakeholders to monitor and improve processes and drive partner success on Zalando's ecommerce platform.

Using MicroStrategy, Starburst, Airflow, Databricks, and Redshift, you will develop and enhance the data landscape, governance, pipelines, and reporting infrastructure.

• Identify data requirements and translate them into functional specifications for data engineers, developing new data products and acting as a data steward for core data domains.
• Support the design, modeling, maintenance, and stewardship of key data layers and metrics in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Enable teams to generate insights for decision-making.

Data Enablement & Governance:

• Design data pipelines to integrate datasets into our reporting landscape, ensuring seamless workflows.
• Educate end users and data professionals on datasets, modeling best practices, reporting principles, and the broader data landscape.
• Promote scalable and efficient data practices, balancing business needs with platform sustainability.

We'd love to meet you if:

• You hold a degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or similar.
• You have over 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics in an enterprise setting.
• You understand data warehousing, databases, data structures, and analytical methods.
• You are proficient in SQL and data modeling.
• You excel in root cause analysis and problem-solving related to data.
• You are a change driver, enthusiastic about data, people, and processes.
• You possess good project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with MicroStrategy, Databricks, and Apache Airflow is a strong plus.
