For the position of Business Economist as Supply Chain Manager at our client Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, we are looking for a team player with good communication skills to ensure a smooth flow of information. You will have a high degree of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent and will actively contribute to the efficient management of the supply chain.
The gross annual salary is between €71,500 and €73,500, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa).
Job description
Tasks
- Collaboration in the introduction of new products (NPI) and ensuring order processing in the ERP system
- Analyzing delays and prioritizing according to assembly and customer support requirements
- Managing operational measures to resolve missing parts and logistics issues
- Daily monitoring of supply chain performance and conflict resolution along the process chain
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to implement corrective and preventative measures
- Control of return logistics including offer management and parts tracking
- Inventory monitoring and implementation of capacity management measures with suppliers
- Carrying out supplier evaluations, selection processes, and risk assessments for supply chain optimization
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, or supply chain / logistics
- Several years of professional experience in scheduling, material procurement, purchasing, and supplier management
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Experience in operational and strategic supply chain management
- In-depth user knowledge of SAP and expertise with Google Workspace
- Business fluent German and English, at least C1 level
- Willingness to travel regularly on business
- Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU
