We are looking for a Business Development Representative in Germany to scale our commercial impact in the German market.
You will be onboarded and supported by your manager Pascale (Head of New Business), and you will work closely with our first Account Executive on the German market, Danu, as well as the broader German go-to-market team—Eloise (Product Manager), Maïte (Legal Counsel), and Laura (Field Marketing Manager).
Responsibilities
- Highlight Doctrine’s value proposition to set up meetings and demos with Account Executives
- Identify potential customers and gather relevant information about them
- Qualify and understand prospects’ needs in order to accelerate the sales cycle
- Engage key decision-makers in the selection of the Doctrine solution
- Ensure a strong level of information and documentation on the market, prospects, and opportunities
- Coordinate with Doctrine’s Sales team and Marketing to optimize the lead acquisition strategy
- Train in qualification, prospecting, and sales techniques
- Represent Doctrine at the many events organized by Marketing
Qualifications
- Some initial experience in sales, customer support, or any role involving frequent customer interaction; experience in a B2B SaaS company is a plus; highly motivated to develop sales skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and Italian native speaker; active listener, empathetic, precise, and direct
- Well‑organized and self‑driven, can multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Enjoy debating and persuading people, and picking up the phone does not scare you
- Motivated by incentives and excited by the challenge of uncapped variable compensation
- Knowledge of a CRM, especially Salesforce, is a plus
