About the role

In this Business Development role, you will focus on prospecting, owning outreach and go-to-market strategy execution within your designated accounts. Operating with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, you will drive interactions, build, and nurture relationships. Your goal is to develop a solid and sustainable sales pipeline across Blue Yonder’s market-leading portfolio and platform. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Industry Strategy, and our Solution Advisory team, being part of a motivated EMEA Business Development team. How will you contribute and drive success?

  • Build and own account outreach plans and strategies for your target accounts
  • Stay informed about industry trends and events to effectively align and position Blue Yonder
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and ABM activities to generate opportunities
  • Engage proactively with target accounts using various tools
  • Qualify and discover requirements, lead presentations and discussions with senior audiences
  • Build internal and external relationships
  • Participate in event preparation, execution, and follow-up to create new opportunities
  • Maintain motivation, tenacity, and focus
  • Seek guidance and collaborate with peers to generate new ideas and success

  • 1-2 years of Business Development experience
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Experience engaging with Tier 1 industry clients, large retailers, and manufacturers
  • Proven success in similar roles

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS Office, and collaboration tools
