The Job

Location: Remote, UK Resident Only

Reports To: CEO

Department: Sales & Business Development

Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive growth in the company's house repair claims services by developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and aligning offerings with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct research, identify opportunities, develop strategies to expand the client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, homeowners, contractors, and property managers.
  • Business Development: Network, attend events, leverage online platforms, and present proposals to clients.
  • Sales & Revenue: Manage sales pipeline, close deals, negotiate contracts.
  • Project Coordination: Work with operations to ensure timely service delivery and oversee project management.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track performance, prepare reports, and update management.

Key Functions

  • Manage Key Accounts and achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and upsell/cross-sell.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-sales activities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales process.

The Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Insurance, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in insurance, construction, or house repair.
  • Skills: Negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills, CRM proficiency, market analysis.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in insurance claims management or house repair services.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Problem-solving and customer-first mindset.
