As a Business Development Manager - Warehouse Automation also known as Sales Engineer youll have the opportunity to introduce our state-of-the-art Motorized Drive Rollers Steerable Wheel Motor modules and smart actuators to a rapidly growing industry thats transforming the logistics of tomorrow. This is your chance to make a real impact to shape the future solve real-world challenges and build lasting relationships with customers across Europe.

Your responsibilities :

Business Development : Conduct market research to identify and target potential clients in the warehouse automation sector. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate new markets and establish a strong customer base.

Customer Engagement : Initiate contact with prospective customers and establish relationships through networking cold outreach and industry events. Qualify leads and conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points.

Technical Consultation : Provide technical expertise in warehouse automation products and solutions to clients and stakeholders. Assist customers in understanding the value proposition of our products and how they can optimize their operations.

Sales Presentations : Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of clients. Address any technical questions or concerns raised by potential customers.

Negotiation and Closing : Negotiate contracts pricing and terms of sale while ensuring customer satisfaction. Close sales deals and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Market Feedback : Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position the product line.

Our requirements :

Bachelors degree in engineering with a minor in Business Administration or a related field.

MUST have DIRECT sales experience in Warehouse Automation material handling or industrial automation.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or business development specifically in warehouse automation material handling or related industries e.g. industrial automation.

Fluency in German and English ; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.

Proven track record of successfully hunting and acquiring new clients without pre-existing contacts.

Strong technical understanding of automation technologies conveyors sortation equipment and industrial systems.

Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in software platforms : Word Excel and PowerPoint .

Willingness to travel (up to 50% of the time) extensively across Europe as needed to meet clients.

Work Location : Remote - Preferably based in Germany as the country represents a significant potential for the industry. However we are also open to fluent German-speaking candidates located in neighboring countries and open to frequent travelling.

Monthly sales revenue generated from new business.

The number of new client accounts established within a specified timeframe.

Lead conversion rate from initial engagement to closed deals.

Customer satisfaction scores and feedback following sales engagements.

Market development and reporting on competitive intelligence.
