Job Title: Business Development Manager (f / m / x)

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our People Organisation and Development Team at AUTO1 Group, Europe’s leading digital automotive platform. This role focuses on enhancing AUTO1's capabilities by aligning business strategy, company structure, staffing plans, people programs, operations, and business processes within our People Department. Our department shapes the way we work and supports our team's growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Support leadership in managing department structures, including leadership positions, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to people policies.
  2. Assist leadership in managing staffing budgets and ensure staffing plans support growth objectives.
  3. Oversee processes related to Payroll Managers, ensuring proper execution of staffing plans, including creating, closing, and editing positions to facilitate seamless hiring activities for Talent Acquisition teams.
  4. Review internal staffing events such as promotions and internal mobility initiatives.
  5. Act as the primary contact for position-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, project management, or similar roles, preferably with a background in People Projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and drive results.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, thriving in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
