Company Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (f/m/x) to join our People Organisation and Development Team. This team focuses on enhancing AUTO1's capabilities through aligning business strategy, company structure, staffing plans, people programs, operations, and business processes within our AUTO1 Group People Department. We shape our work environment and support our team's growth. AUTO1 Group is Europe’s leading digital automotive platform, revolutionizing the used car market with brands like Autohero, wirkaufendeinauto.de, and AUTO1.com.

Your Role

• Support leadership in managing departmental structures, including leadership roles, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to people policies.
• Assist leadership in managing staffing budgets and ensure staffing plans support our growth while respecting budgets.
• Oversee processes related to Payroll Managers, ensuring staffing plans are executed effectively: closing and creating positions, editing positions as needed, and ensuring seamless availability for hiring to optimize our Talent Acquisition activities.
• Review internal staffing events such as promotions and internal mobility initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for all position-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service.

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, project management, or similar roles, ideally with a focus on People Projects.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across stakeholders and drive results.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
• A strategic, analytical mindset, thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
• Excellent English skills in both written and spoken; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
