Diese Position erfordert umfangreiche Erfahrung im Vertrieb, Kenntnisse im Bereich Next Generation Sequencing und eine starke Kundenorientierung. Sie arbeiten eng mit internen Teams zusammen und vertreten das Unternehmen auf Messen und Konferenzen.

Qualifikationen

  • Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in Business Development oder Vertrieb, idealerweise im NGS-Bereich.
  • Kenntnisse im IVD-Markt und bei Infektionskrankheiten von Vorteil.
  • Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch.

From our NGS business, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d).

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

The position will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth in the NGS sector.
  • Coordinate our NGS strategy and implementation with BMID divisional sales teams.
  • Overall revenue responsibility for the NGS product group.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to understand and meet their needs and requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers in the implementation and use of our NGS solutions.
  • Develop marketing materials and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate product launch activities and perform commercial campaigns.
  • Organise and coordinate studies.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers and sales partners.
  • Perform market analysis and identify new business opportunities, as well as monitor competitors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to develop customer-specific solutions.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to represent the company and network.
Qualifikationen
  • Several years of experience in business development, sales, or customer support, ideally in the NGS sector or related technology.
  • Experience and knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing.
  • Knowledge of the IVD market and infectious diseases would be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent technical college qualification) in a relevant natural science discipline such as Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Confident and friendly appearance in customer contact.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Very good ability to work in a team and organize effectively.
  • Resilience and proactive working style, customer orientation.
  • Confident handling of MS Office programs.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
