For our Coburg headquarters in the International Marketing Department, we are looking for a

Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Marine Business

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct continuous market monitoring and prepare market studies.
• Identify application requirements from the market and branches; evaluate them regarding the establishment or expansion of business fields.
• Develop sector-specific business models, identify new business fields, and further develop existing ones.
• Search for and evaluate emerging markets; identify potential customers and segments.
• Establish and/or expand segment marketing.
• Define industry and sector key figures and ensure their implementation.
• Introduce or further develop standardized sales controlling; adapt or develop strategies to increase sales success.
• Collaborate with product managers and sales units to develop requirement profiles for product development and support the process.
• Establish and expand relationships with key customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, or a similar field.
• Extended professional experience in business development, technical customer support, or strategic market development in marine business.
• Fluent English skills are essential; German skills are desirable.
• Skills in other languages are welcome.
• A passion for technology.
• Well-organized, result-oriented, customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• An established network within the industry is desirable.
