Avanade is looking for Business Development Directors who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators, and self-starters capable of developing and winning new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. For this role, we seek candidates with experience in net new sales, selling digital transformation and consulting services (e.g., cloud implementation, business applications integration) to enterprise clients in the Resources & Life Sciences Industry sector. You will focus on our generic portfolio or, depending on your background, specifically on selling ERP or Data and AI services.

  • Experience selling within the Resources & Life Sciences Industry market, with the ability to drive industry-specific discussions with C-suite executives in both business and industry.
  • Experience selling across multiple solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps, Data & AI), preferably involving enterprise-scale consulting engagements and global delivery. Inspire solutions driven by Business Value, GenAI, and Copilot.
  • Experience working with Microsoft and other partners to grow their business.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and apply effective solutions to remove obstacles.
  • Proven success as a business development hunter with sophisticated closure skills.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor, addressing clients’ business needs.
  • Experience driving sales at the C-suite level in a solutions-selling environment, positioning value-based contracts aligned with customer KPIs.
