Exyte in Germany seeks a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to identify new opportunities and support customers from the initial inquiry through successful project execution in technical piping construction for semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.

You will acquire new customers, evaluate inquiries for viability and risk, and coordinate with Project Management, Estimating, and Procurement, while leading negotiations with suppliers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Process Engineering or equivalent
• Several years of experience in plant engineering, ideally within semiconductor industry or GMP-regulated environment
• Strong technical understanding with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset; fluent German and English

• Acquire new customers and build long-term relationships within semiconductor and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries
• Evaluate customer inquiries and proposals with regard to commercial viability, risks, and technical feasibility
• Support the quotation and estimation process in close collaboration with Project Management, Estimating, and Procurement
• Select suitable suppliers and assess project execution efforts realistically
• Lead contract, proposal, and award negotiations within the scope of your authority
• Maintain and further develop sales reporting in Salesforce while supporting project execution activities

• Strong technical understanding combined with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel across Europe
