Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to lead and drive sales growth across Europe. This role will focus on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with key clients, and expanding our footprint in existing markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and business development skills, a deep understanding of regional markets, and the ability to work cross-functionally to execute a growth strategy.


YOU ARE

  1. A “hunter” for new business – You proactively generate new business leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and other channels. You will manage and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and drive the sales process from initial contact to closure.
  2. Customer centric – You know how to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through regular communication and addressing client needs.
  3. A trend setter – Conducting thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, monitoring prices, and customer preferences is part of your approach. You use this data to inform sales strategies and adapt to changing market conditions.
  4. A skilled negotiator – You are accustomed to leading contract negotiations (yearly conditions) and closing deals in a timely manner, ensuring PIP’s interests are protected and that terms are aligned with business goals.
  5. A natural collaborator – You will work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure that the sales strategy is aligned with overall company goals. You will need to share feedback on customer requirements and help shape product/service offerings that result in customer wins.
  6. Motivated by metrics – Part of your work routine will involve tracking and detailed reporting on sales activities, performance metrics, and KPIs. Regularly updating senior management on progress against sales targets and key initiatives will be required.

Required Skills For Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, with a track record of success in Europe. Experience in B2B sales, with a focus on complex solutions or enterprise-level products, is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Europe markets, cultural differences, and regional dynamics. Familiarity with key industries such as technology, finance, manufacturing, or services is advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strong ability to build relationships at all levels, including C-suite executives. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Italian, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe up to 25-50% to support business needs.
