Our client is a subsidiary of a successful, internationally active company with several thousand employees in Germany and overseas. The group is a leader in the identification segment, offering products such as smart lockers, access control, and ID solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Expand business presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) through proactive sales, partner activation, and strategic development.
- Focus on technical, solution-based selling, promoting lockers as the primary product along with access control and ID solutions.
- Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and commercial real estate companies.
- Build relationships with facility planners, workspace designers, and large distributors to secure product placements in new projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights into product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in B2B technical or solution-based business development/sales.
- Background in electronics, embedded systems, security technology, industrial automation, or smart infrastructure.
- Experience selling integrated hardware and software solutions.
- Strong understanding of physical security, IoT, RFID, and workplace technology is highly valued.
- Experience working with system integrators, facility technology partners, or OEMs.
- Connections in manufacturing, logistics, real estate, or public sector procurement are a plus.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and decision-makers.
- Fluency in German and good knowledge of English.
