This position is part of the commercial sales team located in Europe and will be fully remote, responsible for the entire DACH region. You will be part of the Cell and Gene Therapy Sales Team, reporting to the Director of Sales, EMEA, and will focus on identifying, developing, managing, and retaining revenue-generating opportunities through strategic and tactical sales of all product and service lines.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in biotech, pharma, academic, and government organizations in the assigned territory, meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly KPIs
• Manage opportunity and sales pipeline data in CRM and provide accurate forecasts to ensure visibility of revenue opportunities
• Understand client strategies and organizational structures, providing feedback to Product Management and Operations for service improvements
• Deliver high-level presentations to clients about our offerings
• Develop and adjust territory and business development plans to maximize revenue growth

The essential requirements of the job include:

• University degree in Biotechnology or Biology, or several years of client-facing sales experience in the cell and gene therapy industry
• Broad technical knowledge in molecular and cell biology, including biotherapeutics, nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vectors, CAR-T, etc.
• Experience in developing territory and business plans to expand client base and revenue
• Willingness to travel within the region and to the USA for meetings and training
• Fluent in German and English

Preferred additional experience:

• Knowledge of regional regulatory and quality requirements
