We are constantly growing in our business and we are looking for a Business Development Manager DACH to join our company.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who has been successful in a Sales / Marketing role in the industry, or as a Product Manager, Lab Application Specialist role, who would like to grow professionally in sales area.

Main responsibilities:
  1. Supporting the implementation of sales strategies and business growth for the area of expertise in accordance with company objectives for our lines of business (Laboratory Equipment and Analytical Instruments);
  2. Establishing and reinforcing partnership with the distribution network, relating to the various stakeholders of the organization;
  3. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing and service) to ensure alignment on commercial activities;
  4. Visiting local customers and distributors to ensure their expectations are fulfilled and understand future needs;
  5. Manage budget activities: creation, implementation, and control of medium-term plans;
  6. Organize and support training sessions for distributors and end customers;
  7. Provide technical and analytical Pre-sales support.
Requirements:
  1. Resident in Germany, home-based;
  2. 3-5 years of experience in any commercial role in sales & marketing in our industry, or in-depth knowledge of laboratory processes (as an application specialist or scientist) seeking a transition into a commercial role in analytical instrumentation with a strong interest in sales activities;
  3. German native speaker, English knowledge at least B1/B2;
  4. Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  5. Knowledge of Salesforce is a strong plus for creating and updating contacts, qualifying leads, and managing opportunities;
  6. Travel up to 50% of the time within DACH territory and to Italy VELP HQ (near Milan);
  7. Availability to spend a period in Italy for intensive training prior to role start.
