Job Title: Business Development Manager Circularity

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager Circularity to join our Polyurethanes division. This role focuses on driving strategic initiatives related to Huntsman's sustainability and circularity goals. The main objective is to establish Huntsman's presence within emerging recycling ecosystems. This position can be based at any of our PU sites in Europe or work remotely.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify, develop, and expand growth opportunities through new partnerships, client acquisition, and market expansion in recycling.
2. Develop business models within a cross-functional team, including potential M&A activities.
3. Stay informed about evolving regulations and standards to ensure compliance and provide clients with up-to-date solutions.
4. Conduct market research to monitor recycling trends.
5. Engage with potential partners, understand recycling challenges, and propose solutions.
6. Manage existing contracts and negotiate new agreements.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
2. At least 10 years of technical, commercial, or marketing experience, with a proven track record of business growth in specialty products.
3. Experience in circularity and sustainable practices, with a successful history in this area.
4. Understanding of circular economy principles.
5. Leadership experience in a matrix organization.
6. Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
7. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
8. Willingness to travel globally regularly.
