Business Development Manager - EV Charging infrastructure - Remote - HQ in North-Rhine Westphalia.

About the Company -

The past 12-18 months within the EV market in Germany has been tough and challenging, but this business have continued to grow over 50% during this time period. They have also exciting plans lined up for 2025.

Their sales have continued to grow, with their recent product launch of their EMS option being a big plus to sales.

They have a European HQ in the Netherlands but have multiple offices across Germany, as well as having a further 15 offices across the continent. The business pride themselves on innovation, but also freedom. They have a diverse portfolio of products, and they want their sales team to use in the best way they see possible.

About the Role -

My client are looking to build out their EV sales team, and this role will be crucial in defining how the team will grow from this point. You will be focussing on driving commercial success for the company, whilst also mapping out key partnership opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing relationships with key accounts, by acting as the Key Account Manager.
  • Coordinating and managing both technical and commercial bid preparation.
  • Manage the pipelines within the project management vertical.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue from KPIs defined by the management team.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and industry networking events.
  • Establishing connections with OEMs, CPOs and Utilities.

Qualifications -

At least 3 years of sales experience within EV in Germany.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical understanding with EV Charging solutions or BESS.
  • Fluent in German with English being a big plus!
  • Affinity to develop existing client relationships.
  • Network with OEMs, CPOs, Utilities and more.
