An innovative and rapidly growing international research organization is expanding its commercial team and looking for a Business Development Manager to lead client engagement across Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist CRO that delivers high-impact clinical trials in the cardiovascular medical device field.

Responsibilities:

You will be at the forefront of business development and strategic growth, with key responsibilities including:

  • Managing and growing a pipeline of commercial opportunities – from lead generation to deal closure
  • Supporting client qualification, contracting, and opportunity management
  • Attending key industry conferences and events to build relationships and develop new leads
  • Collaborating closely with clinical and operational teams to align services to client needs
  • Contributing to strategic partnerships and high-value commercial deals across Europe

About you:

  • A strong commercial background in clinical trials, medical devices, pharma services, or a similar life science environment
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle – including contract negotiation and client development
  • A solid grasp of regulatory or technical service sales in a scientific or clinical setting
  • Proficiency with key business tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal); fluent English is required, and German or other European languages are a plus
  • Self-driven, proactive, and confident in working both autonomously and collaboratively
