Business Development Manager– Hamburg (3 days/week in office)

Are you a commercially minded, proactive team player looking to make a real impact in a high-performing business development team? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading international law firm in their Hamburg office.

You’ll be working 3 days a week from our modern, centrally located Hamburg office, with flexibility and a strong focus on work-life balance. This is a varied and operational role, perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on and close to the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the firm’s growth across Energy, Banking & Finance, Technology, and Life Sciences sectors.
• Identifying new market opportunities and helping to build and strengthen key client relationships.
• Working closely with client partners on account planning, relationship mapping and data-led analysis.
• Collaborating with a dedicated BD team of 4, and supported by a wider marketing, digital, and PR team – all based in Hamburg.
• Contributing to cross-border initiatives with colleagues from their international network.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in economics, law, political science or similar.
• Ideally, experience working in a law firm, accountancy firm, or management consultancy — or within another professional services environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong interest in digital, innovative, and future-facing topics.
• A self-starter who enjoys juggling multiple projects and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English skills are essential (German a plus).
