Overview:
- Assist CAMs and sales force during the discovery phase in making sales calls and presentations of the TWM applications.
- Ensure qualification process compliance and focus on relevant opportunities.
- Support Sales in the selling phase by working in project mode, acting as a gatekeeper between internal resources (MO, Engineering, ITC, CAM) and external resources (partners, engineering companies).
- Propose mechanisms (scope of work, working mode) and alliances (partnerships) to the SGS Director to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Coordinate with finance to set pricing engineering that ensures acceptable profitability and return on investments.
- Manage contractual matters and customer satisfaction follow-up within existing TWM customers, collaborating with O&M team and Sales/KAM.
- Support sales force and engineering in negotiating claims with vendors and customers.
- Drive strong business growth with high closure ratio and profitability.
- Manage the TWM selling process from conceptual notes to contract finalization.
What you will do:
- Participate actively in the discovery phase by attending sales calls and raising TWM-specific core business questions to customers.
- Manage opportunity qualification process and recommend Go/No Go decisions to the qualification committee.
- Support CAMs and coordinate (as Gatekeeper) the Ecolab/Nalco team (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance) during the selling phase.
- Prepare commercial proposals for review by the Project Team before sending to customers, ensuring 100% process compliance and approval from finance and leadership.
- Assist Sales & MO teams in monitoring ongoing contracts from a commercial perspective, ensuring commitments are met and renegotiating when necessary.
- Manage the balance of commercial and technical aspects after the first year of contract operation, drawing lessons and setting benchmarks for future projects.
- Prepare and deliver internal and external presentations of TWM capabilities, supported by marketing, CAM, and DM.
- Network with engineering, industry marketers, and research teams to leverage new technical developments for new products, applications, and systems.
- Maintain internal benchmarks with peers, ensuring feedback on means, technology, and costs are considered during selling.
- Enhance proposal competitiveness by challenging stakeholders to optimize costs.
- Drive the finalization of contractual agreements with customers, with support from legal and CAM teams.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in water processing or related field, with a strong sales-driven mindset, and good understanding of the sales process and business experience in mid to large-sized projects.
- Knowledge of complex multi-discipline solution selling, a good network in the market and with vendors (equipment, engineering), and some experience in project management (execution phase). Experience with outsourcing projects is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in mid to large companies, with skills in managing cross-organizational workgroups, leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, resilience.
