Job Title: BESS Business Development Manager (Residential and C&I)
Location: On-site (Frankfurt, Germany)
Salary: €80,000 – €120,000 + Benefits + Car/Car Allowance
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the Residential and C&I BESS markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project developers, EPCs, utilities, IPPs, and technology partners.
- Conduct market research to track current trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, while identifying new market guidelines and opportunities.
- Manage transactions from end to end, including lead generation, contract negotiation, and project completion.
- Establish strategic partnerships and distribution networks to expand market reach in the BESS sector.
- Support the development of a project pipeline in collaboration with the engineering, finance, and legal teams.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
- Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and commercial proposals.
- Work with internal departments to prepare customized technical and commercial offers.
- Prepare regular reports on KPIs, sales forecasts, and business performance indicators.
Skills:
- Degree in chemistry, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, project engineering, or solution engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of BESS system components (PCS, EMS, HVAC, etc.).
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Professional, motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the EU.
- Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with engineering design tools is an advantage.
