In our HRT (Heating and Refrigeration Technologies) division, our comprehensive portfolio, including heat pumps, plays a crucial role in the decarbonization of cities and the reduction of global CO₂ emissions.
We are now seeking a skilled and motivated individual as Business Development Lead Digital Products (m / f / d) to support our team in Berlin, Dusseldorf, or 's-Hertogenbosch (NL).
This role reports to the Vice President, Service Business Development within the Central Service Organization (CSO).
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Your objective is to promote digital products effectively to internal and external customers across HRT business units, ensuring efficient sales processes for GEA customers and contractors.
- Develop strong contacts within the global service sales network and support proactive approaches to new potential customers to sell digital products.
- Strategic Business Expansion: Formulate and implement comprehensive business development strategies and country-specific sales plans for digital offerings worldwide.
- Orchestration of Digital Initiatives: Coordinate and steer digital product initiatives aligning with overall business objectives and resource allocation.
- Digital Opportunity Cultivation: Identify and develop new business opportunities within various regions for the entire digital portfolio of HRT.
- Market Intelligence Provision: Provide insightful market feedback to the digital product management team to aid continuous improvement and strategic planning.
- Driving Excellence in Digital Implementation: Promote best practices and lead the deployment of state-of-the-art digital products with KPI reporting.
- Ensuring Organizational Support: Ensure regional and country organizations receive timely support regarding digital products from manufacturing facilities and business units.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Educational Foundation: University degree in engineering; an MBA is advantageous.
- Professional Sales Acumen: At least three years of proven experience in B2B sales of digital products, including software.
- Strategic Business Proficiency: Expertise in business development, change management, and strategic planning.
- Global Interpersonal Capabilities: Strong leadership, communication, and relationship skills in an international context.
- Client-Centric Global Mobility: High customer orientation and willingness to travel internationally.
- Industry Insight (Advantageous): Experience in refrigeration technology and understanding of market trends and competition.
- Multilingual Skills: Fluent in English; German or Dutch proficiency is a plus.
