The Role

Over the course of 18 months, you will ultimately take ownership of our business growth by winning over and developing your own book of business, as well as running your own projects with top-tier clients & consultants.

You will gain hands-on experience across various stages of business development, from cultivating client relationships to managing projects with top-tier consultants and companies. This is an unparalleled opportunity to fast-track your career in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the global consulting market, its key players, trends, and value-creation methods.
  • Build your own portfolio of clients by identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and driving business growth.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery process between clients and consultants, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals.
  • Proactively engage with new prospects, conduct meetings with C-level executives, and present Consultport’s value proposition.
  • Take on new responsibilities at each stage of the program, ultimately leading projects independently.

What the next 18 months would look like for you:

  • Business Development Trainee (0-6 months): Learn the fundamentals of consulting, develop relationships with consultants, and enhance your communication skills.
  • Business Development Coordinator (6-12 months): Collaborate on project management and stakeholder engagement, supervising consultant-client matching processes.
  • Business Development Associate (12-18 months): Take ownership of business growth, manage your own book of business, and run projects end-to-end with top-tier clients and consultants.
  • And Beyond: You have the chance to convert to a permanent employee with us at Consultport, and continue your journey with us.

Your Profile

  • Strong academic performance (consistently in the top 25% of your class)
  • Recently graduated or graduating in 2025.
  • Previous experience in sales, consulting, or in a start-up environment is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • C1/C2 proficiency in German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch is a plus.
