Business Development for Data & AI (m/f/d), Munich

What is looked for:
- Driving the business development and sales strategy for their Advanced Data Analytics team, identifying new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.
- Representing the company as a thought leader for Data & AI at conferences, events, and panels, expanding their network and positioning their analytics services in the market.
- Developing and presenting customized data-driven strategies that help companies achieve their business goals with advanced analytics and AI.
- Being responsible for sales success, market positioning, and scaling, including pitching, strategic customer acquisition, and development of new service offerings.
- Co-leading a team of high potentials, actively driving their development and ensuring the continuous expansion of their analytics expertise.
- Supporting targeted recruiting activities in close cooperation with the People & Culture team, to attract top talent for the Advanced Data Analytics team.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring that their solutions deliver real business value.
Requirements
- Holding a university degree with excellent grades in computer science, business, economics, math, or any other analytical science discipline (Master's degree, MBA, or PhD of advantage).
- Having at least 5 years of professional experience in data science, business analytics, data technology consulting, product management, or development in these areas.
- Having proven experience in team coordination and leadership.
- Experience in web, marketing, and sales analytics, with strong knowledge of data sources such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Hubspot, etc.
- Expertise with Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics software, along with strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of analytics tech stacks, languages, and frameworks (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Scikit-Learn, JupyterLab), and familiarity with software development workflows (Git, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD), plus basic cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
- Profound customer focus and a strong team player willing to work hands-on.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
