Location: Frankfurt/Munich/Dusseldorf/Stuttgart


Your mission:


As Business Development Director, you are responsible for client acquisition and the development of ongoing client relationships at our premium clients in the region. Your experience in selling in the IT-Service industry within the German market adds value for our clients and helps maintain Wipro's standing in Germany. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and a keen awareness of the latest market trends. You will evaluate the market, analyze client needs, develop business plans, and initiate and close deals.


Your tasks:

  • Acquire new clients across the German market, focusing on Pharma, Healthcare, and Life Sciences industries.
  • Nurture and grow existing relationships.
  • Conduct market analysis for new business and expansion opportunities.
  • Benchmark against competitors, report, and forecast.
  • Plan ramp-up activities and launch new projects.
  • Position Wipro as a preferred IT partner among key customers in the German market.

Your qualifications:

  • Successful completion of university studies.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a Sales Executive in the IT sector.
  • Experience managing large outsourcing engagements within the IT-Service industry, focusing on pre-sales or sales phases with German clients, preferably in Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences sectors.
  • Proven sales success record.
  • Project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Open, communicative, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Self-reliant and compelling personality.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Goal-oriented and resilient.
  • Business fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Well-established network at CXO levels within German customer organizations.
