Your mission:

As Business Development Executive, you are responsible for client acquisition and the development of ongoing client relationships at our premium clients in the region. Your experience in selling within the IT-Service industry in the German market adds value for our clients and ensures Wipro’s standing in the German market. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and a keen sense of the latest developments and trends in the market. Furthermore, you will evaluate the market, analyze client needs, develop business plans, and initiate and close business deals.

  • The main focus is the acquisition of new clients across the German market with a focus on the Pharma/Healthcare/Life Sciences industry.
  • Nurturing and growth of existing relationships.
  • Market analysis regarding new business and expansion opportunities.
  • Benchmarking with competition as well as reporting and forecasting.
  • Ramp-up planning and launch of new projects.
  • Position Wipro as an IT partner of choice among key customers in the German market.
  • Successfully completed university studies.
  • Minimum 15+ years’ experience, including at least 5 years’ experience as a Sales Executive in the IT sector.
  • Experience handling larger outsourcing engagements within the IT-Service industry (pre-sales or sales phase) with a focus on German customers, preferably in the Pharma/Healthcare/Life Sciences sector.
  • Proven track record of sales successes.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Open, communicative, and team-oriented.
  • Self-reliant and compelling.
  • Analytic and conceptual frame of mind.
  • Goal-oriented and resilient.
  • Business fluent in English; knowledge of the German language would be an added advantage.
  • Well networked at the CXO layers of customer organizations in the German market.
