Your Role
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in expanding our freight forwarding business in Germany. You'll proactively identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and help shape our growth strategy in international logistics.
Your Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new B2B clients in international logistics and freight forwarding.
Conduct market research and spot trends and growth opportunities.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow revenue and expand our customer base.
Represent Samsung SDS at logistics and industry events.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication and needs assessments.
Lead contract negotiations and ensure deals align with company goals and policies.
Support daily operations including customs clearance and container coordination.
Collaborate with shipping lines, terminals, and suppliers to strengthen strategic partnerships.
Your Profile
Completed vocational training in freight forwarding or logistics.
2–5 years of professional experience in sales within the logistics industry.
Solid understanding of freight forwarding (ocean, air, and land transport).
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a sales-oriented mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus).
Fluent in both German and English.
Familiar with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
Willingness to travel across Germany and attend trade events.
Valid Class B driving license.
