The Role

We're on the hunt for seasoned sales professionals eager to join our team in Munich to promote our innovative advertising solutions to the world’s biggest packaged goods brands.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be a proactive hunter, driven by the challenge and opportunity to sell through cold outreach to new and existing clients.

Strong performance can lead to genuine career growth, including potential transfers to our international offices in Sydney, Toronto, or New York. Candidates should be open to living and working abroad in the future.

Working with top CPG and OTC brands, our platforms such as Brand Power, Medifacts, and Experts Review have significantly increased sales across all media, including TV, digital, social, and augmented reality at the point of sale. We also operate the world’s largest e-community of shoppers, hometesterclub.com, providing ratings, reviews, user-generated content, insights, and authentic video content to brands worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and acquire new business through cold outreach, including exploring new verticals
  • Arrange meetings with top-tier CPG, FMCG, and OTC companies across Europe to showcase our platforms using email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to maintain detailed contact and opportunity records
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative and production, to sell, execute, and manage campaigns
  • Research and manage potential leads via LinkedIn and industry databases to understand market dynamics
  • Become an expert in product categories and advertising best practices to persuade marketers
  • Prepare quotes for qualified prospects and opportunities

Qualifications and Experience

  • University Degree in Business or Marketing preferred, or relevant experience
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably with CPG exposure
  • Multilingual skills highly desirable
  • High initiative, self-motivation, and excellent time management
  • Ambitious with a strong sales aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Fluent in English and German (C1+); additional languages like French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, or Finnish are a plus
  • Willingness to relocate and work abroad if needed
