Desoutter Industrial Tools is a business line within the CP Tools division, which is part of the Industrial Technique Business Area of the Atlas Copco Group.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, results-oriented Business Development Specialist to drive the growth of automation sales.

This position falls under the marketing organization with direct reporting to the Business Development Manager. It requires extensive travel across India and involves high-level customer engagement and collaboration with internal teams.

Mission

Your mission is to proactively engage with key customers, machine tool builders, and system integrators, working closely with frontline sales and project teams to create unique value propositions and drive business growth for strategic products and sales efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Proactively engage with potential key customer projects to promote strategic products from proposal to execution, collaborating with sales and project teams.
  2. Work closely with machine tool builders and system integrators, acting as a bridge between projects and sales to promote automation and assembly solutions, including defining technical specifications for RFQs.
  3. Coordinate between sales, project teams, and end customers for large projects to optimize offerings and enhance sales efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with Inside Sales and Frontline Sales to grow sales of Automated Robotic Guidance and End of Line Vision Inspection Systems.

Experience Requirements

Experience in automation solutions, assembly tools, software solutions, PLCs, etc.

Educational Requirements

Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Software, Mechanical, or Information Technology.
