Organizational Description

NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. (NXAL) Operations Departments operate in a warehouse, or a manufacturing environment and associates are subject to moderate amounts of dust, dirt, and odors, primarily produced by packaging materials and the operation of propane-powered forklifts as well as noise primarily produced by production equipment. Temperatures during the year will vary. Frequently operate a computer, read, write and interact with others in person, over the phone and via other devices. They move about within the facility and may travel to other locations.

Roles/Responsibilities/Functions

  • Proficient with computer software associated with customer’s needs
  • MOST certified, or become MOST certified within the first six months of employment
  • Possess knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and transportation functions
  • Effective communication and collaborate within the department
  • Review space, manpower requirements, process flows, and other information to understand activities in manufacturing and services
  • Creates contract proposals
  • Tracks departmental expenses and assist in billing
  • Participates in presentations for prospective clients
  • Gathers and evaluate appropriate data, utilizing statistical techniques, to improve process capability and/or identify root causes of problems, and implement improvement opportunities
  • Provides feedback to management on proposals
  • Participates and reports Business Plan activities
  • Interacts with clients to provide them with timely and effective consultations as required.
  • Familiar with ISO and 5S standards in warehousing and/or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and or shifts to accommodate business needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as business administration, public relations, marketing, communication or accounting is preferred.
  • 0-3 years’ experience with a two-year degree.
  • 4-6 years’ work experience without a degree.
Physical Factors & Working Conditions
  • Frequently sitting for long periods of time working on a computer.
  • Willing to work overtime on short notice.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Capable of bending, stretching, or assuming awkward positions.
  • Required to wear safety glasses and steel-toed shoes and other protective equipment.
  • This position requires the ability to travel domestically, travel durations may range from days to weeks, depending on project and business needs.
