Business Developer

What is the role
  1. Ensure Simdle’s growth in target markets through niche identification, market research, and analysis.
  2. Lead business development efforts mainly in the DACH region but also beyond.
  3. Collaborate with marketing on inbound and outbound lead generation.
  4. Stay informed about industry procurement and position Simdle as a leading candidate.
  5. Coordinate with teams for presentations, procurements, and submissions.
  6. Increase visibility and create partnerships with distribution partners.
  7. Represent Simdle at industry fairs and events.
  8. Demonstrate product expertise, run demos, and address client questions, including on-site visits.
Who you are
  1. You possess a winning mentality.
  2. You have 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in SaaS and automotive sectors.
  3. You are a trustworthy listener with strong interpersonal skills, capable of conducting smooth demos and addressing client needs.
  4. You are organized, problem-solving, and able to translate client needs into actionable tasks.
  5. You are curious, self-learning, and enjoy matching client requests with solutions.
  6. You are proactive, outgoing, and enjoy engaging through social media, conferences, and round tables.
  7. You are a native German speaker, highly fluent in English; additional European languages like French or Dutch are a plus.
  8. You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; further degrees are advantageous.
  9. Having a network in the automotive industry is highly valued.
