Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Business Controller, you will oversee financial controlling activities for all business lines at MCAM GmbH in Germany, including PECM, PEEX, PE Lining, PE MediTECH, Machined Parts, and Carbon Composites. You will play a key role in optimizing financial resources to support growth and profitability, delivering accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights for business risk management and decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Compliance: Manage monthly stock valuation, support local finance teams in accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with German GAAP, IFRS, and Group standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on budgets and multi-year plans, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights for financial planning.
  • Cost Management and Margin Optimization: Perform cost analysis, update machine and hourly rates, monitor cost changes, and lead margin improvement initiatives.
  • Controlling and Financial Support: Act as a financial partner to business managers, support investments and project evaluations, and participate in business meetings.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare analyses of financials, budgets, forecasts, and support strategic development.
  • Strategic Partnership and Special Projects: Serve as a strategic financial advisor and lead projects to develop portfolios and management initiatives.
  • Systems and Processes: Improve systems and tools for operational efficiency, test reporting functions, and share best practices.

Your profile:

  • 5-8 years of finance and controlling experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS.
  • Expertise in business controlling, COGS, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills in English and German.
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and deliver results under deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a multicultural environment.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and an interest in ICT and digitalization.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
