The Business Controller (m / w / d) performs a variety of professional level controlling duties to support Basic Material & Polymers business operational and strategic decisions. The Business controller will be focused on the total European value chain, being raw material sourcing, toll compounding as well as Marketing / Sales activities, providing highly responsible staff assistance to assigned business management staff.

The primary responsibilities include :

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Financial Strategy and Planning

Yourresponsibilities :

  • Sparring partner and adviser for business leadership, financial department and external contractors
  • Providing advice on further value chain optimization.
  • Direct contact for auditors.
  • Assisting business leadership in key financial decisions.
  • Supporting on contract framing
  • Provide financial impact calculations for midterm strategy scenario's
  • Act as interface between the Business and Finance
  • Assisting in preparation and monitoring financial budget and rolling forecast.
  • Following accounting procedures to ensure that the budget is properly administered according legal guidelines.
  • Completing regular financial analysis, identifying financial risks.
  • Performing economic and sales forecasting.
  • Analysing sales and value stream performance
  • Managing financial data in order to assist in decision-making.
  • Monthly reporting to headquarters and internal business management
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track metrics to measure business performance.

Your qualifications and skills :

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable discipline
  • Extensive plantcontroller and accounting experience
  • At least 5 to 10 years relevant experience in controlling & budgeting with increasing responsibility
  • Experience with multi-national companies and cultural diversity
  • Strong analytical skills an ability to assimilate complex data and information
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques
  • Ability to work independently an collaboratively in a dead line driven environment
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • ERP system experience (preferably SAP)
