What are your typical tasks in a role of Business Controller:

  • Take charge of controlling the financial performance at our logistics center.
  • Oversee financial processes and prepare insightful weekly and monthly reports.
  • Lead the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
  • Develop and fine-tune financial forecasts.
  • Prepare key data, presentations, and analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and implement new systems for financial efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks.

What You Need to Succeed at GXO:

  • Proven experience in financial controlling or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, management accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Educational background in economics, finance, or business administration.
  • Expertise in MS Excel (VBA knowledge is a bonus).
  • Fluency in both English and German.
  • Exceptional communication, accuracy, and analytical thinking skills.
