Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Business Application Manager - PLM & Engineering Systems to own the engineering systems landscape. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and ISM to drive improvements, ensure stability, and shape CAD, PDM, PLM, and ERP integration.

You will translate business needs into practical solutions, manage data consistency, and lead PLM initiatives across the organization with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management processes.
• Experience with CAD, PDM, and PLM environments.
• Knowledge of ERP integration, BOM management, and Engineering Change Management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Fluency in professional English.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve end-to-end Engineering and R&D processes.
• Act as the ISM partner for Engineering and Product Development teams.
• Drive governance and development of CAD, PDM, and PLM applications and processes.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable system solutions.
• Ensure consistency of engineering data, product structures, and change processes across systems.
• Support daily operations, coordinate issue resolution, and maintain system stability.
• Drive PLM initiatives and integration with ERP and downstream processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver improvements.

As Business Application Manager - PLM & Engineering Systems, you will take ownership of the business applications and processes that support our Engineering landscape. Acting as the link between Engineering, Operations, and ISM, you will drive process improvements, ensure stable operations, and help shape the future of our CAD, PDM, PLM, and ERP environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• A strong understanding of Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management processes
• Experience with CAD, PDM, and ideally PLM environments
• Knowledge of ERP integration, BOM management, and Engineering Change Management
• The ability to translate business requirements into practical system and process solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence working across Engineering, Operations, and IT
• Professional English skills

Experience with Teamcenter, Windchill, Aras, or similar PLM platforms, as well as a background in manufacturing or industrial equipment, would be an advantage.
