Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Application Engineer to join our team in Munich. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop system customizations, supporting system operations, and maintaining documentation and training materials.

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify technical possibilities and gather user requirements for system customizations such as workflows and interfaces.
2. Provide troubleshooting and general support to ensure smooth system operation.
3. Perform system administration tasks, including monitoring system status, performing upgrades and validation, troubleshooting performance issues, and optimizing system performance.
4. Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and user training materials.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Java.
• Knowledge of REST, SQL databases, and tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, Git, Maven, Ant; experience with CI/CD tools like JUnit, Jenkins, GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Industry experience with Windchill PLM or other PTC products (MPMLink, Creo, ThingWorx) is preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Creative, logical, and structured thinking with a passion for technical solutions.
