Role Overview

The Stores area focuses on creating the technical basis for efficient store processes using the latest technologies. Your work will directly impact all ALDI SOUTH stores globally, especially as we move towards mobile devices to support store associates with up-to-date hardware and software. We are expanding our team of experts to support this strategic focus.

Your Responsibilities

1. Analyze checkout processes in stores and collaborate with the product team and product owner to identify improvement requirements.
2. Work closely with the product owner to translate business needs into detailed specifications and user stories for checkout processes.
3. Identify opportunities to enhance checkout efficiency and develop strategies to streamline operations.
4. Manage prioritization of checkout-related tasks in the product backlog and oversee demand management.
5. Own and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to checkout operations.
6. Review and validate checkout process enhancements from development to rollout in coordination with the product team.
7. Lead and participate in initiatives to optimize the checkout process within your area of responsibility.
8. Define and develop criteria for successful completion of checkout-related tasks (Definition of Done).

Your Profile

1. Strong analytical and strategic skills with experience in requirement analysis.
2. Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques such as user stories and use cases.
3. Experience working in an Agile environment with adaptability to new settings.
4. Effective communication skills suited for various stakeholders and intercultural understanding.
5. Proficiency in English.
