Job summary

Trinetix is seeking a Business Analyst / Product Owner to bridge business needs and product delivery in a SCRUM-driven environment. You will define and prioritize requirements, manage the backlog, and translate business needs into clear user stories and solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and product leadership, refine backlogs, write acceptance criteria, and support Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
• Strong SCRUM knowledge and hands-on Agile delivery experience.
• Advanced English and advanced Ukrainian with professional communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and product leadership.
• Experience prioritizing product backlogs based on value and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product leadership, and development teams to understand business needs and define product requirements.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
• Lead and facilitate backlog refinement sessions and support effective sprint planning.
• Define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements that are actionable for development teams.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements while maintaining alignment between business and engineering teams.
• Support product decision-making by identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain product and requirements documentation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Miro, etc.
• Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the product development process.

Requirements

• Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders, development teams, and product leadership
• Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs based on business value and priorities
• Experience with backlog refinement, defining acceptance criteria, and writing clear, actionable user stories
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Confluence or SharePoint, and Miro

• Experience owning a product backlog or acting as a Product Owner
• Legal domain knowledge or experience working on legal-related products or projects
