For our Controlling department, we are looking for a Business Analyst (m/f/d) at our Hamburg, Dormagen, or Rotterdam location – someone who embodies what unites all our employees: always going one step further.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve strategic KPIs in Qlik Sense to support data-driven decision-making
- Design advanced data models in Qlik Sense to ensure transparency and consistency across business units
- Collaborate with Operations to coordinate and manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze gross profit margins and derive actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term strategic planning activities
- Conduct profitability analyses and evaluate business cases
- Drive and manage controlling-related projects with a focus on efficiency and value creation
- Handle ad-hoc data and performance analyses for management and key stakeholders
Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a comparable analytical or controlling role, ideally in the logistics industry
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas); experience with BI tools, ideally Qlik Sense, is a plus
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex data clearly
- Team player with a structured, proactive, and detail-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel internationally and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
