Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a deep understanding of risk management in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and implementing changes to mitigate risks in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and analyze data to identify potential risks
  • Work with stakeholders to define and document business requirements and create functional specifications
  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Analyze and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement
  • Design and implement new risk management tools, systems, and processes
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, risk management, or related field in the banking industry
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, including credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, such as Basel III and Dodd-Frank Act
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in risk management or business analysis, such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as SQL or Tableau
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
